Stories from the Parking Lot

February 16, 2017

This week we highlight a story of connection from the parking lot.

Parking volunteers provide an important service because they are the first smiling face our guests see when they arrive at the temple. “We are so happy to see you” is the mood they convey.  On Sunday, as they began greeting the incoming cars, one and then another friend parked and spontaneously joined them in service. We love when that happens! Sunday Serve volunteers are happy to have others help them and that in turn makes the Sunday Open House an amazing bhakti experience for all.

The Sunday Serve program details are:

Time: 11 am - 4pm

Service Teams include: Temple Ushers, Lunch Service, Parking Administration,Connections Table
